CLERK OF THE SUPERIOR COURT IN MARICOPA COUNTY: EFILING FOR MENTAL HEALTH CASES NOW LIVE

The Clerk of the Superior Court in Maricopa County, in collaboration with the Arizona Supreme Court and Superior Court in Maricopa County, is proud to announce the launch of eFiling for Mental Health cases. This advancement extends eFiling to case initiation and subsequent documents in Mental Health cases filed under A.R.S. Title 36, Chapter 5. Mental Health eFiling is now available through the authorized eFiling service provider, eFileAZ.

In accordance with Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA) § 1-901, eFiling in Mental Health cases is only permitted for individuals authorized under Rule 123(d)(6), Rules of the Supreme Court, to access Mental Health case records.
Assistance with eFile portal registration and training, including facilitated virtual sessions, is available through the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). Please visit https://www.azcourts.gov/efilinginformation/Training for additional information on training.

As part of the Clerk’s Office ongoing commitment to expanding online services, eFiling in Mental Health proceedings marks a significant convenience for the Superior Court’s fastest-growing case type. Beyond nearly eliminating the need to file documents in paper, authorized filers are also provided 24/7 online access to view documents filed in their case. The Clerk’s Office has now extended eFiling to all major case types, with the exception of Probate, which is anticipated to go live within the coming year.
