EFILECA: EFILING FEE CHANGES 1/1
On January 1st, 2025, Tyler’s E-Filing fees (a.k.a. EFM Fees) will be standardized across the California courts using the Odyssey eFiling system. Depending on the filing location, this standardization may result in a slight decrease or increase from the current rates.
The new fee structure of $4.95 will apply to case types, regardless of whether e-filing is mandatory or permissive.
Please note that Tyler is in the process of amending contracts with each court. Any contracts not amended by January 1st will remain under the current rate structure until they are amended.
The following counties have already agreed to the new structure:
- Butte
- Calaveras
- Contra Costa
- Fresno, Glenn
- Mendocino
- Merced
- Orange
- San Bernardino
- San Luis Obispo
- San Mateo
- Santa Clara
- Santa Cruz
- Sonoma
- Stanislaus
- Tehama
- Yolo
The following counties have not agreed to the new structure as of the date of this notice:
- Colusa
- Kern
- Los Angeles
- Mariposa
- Monterey
- Napa
- San Diego
- Santa Barbara
- Sutter
- Yuba
