MANDATORY EFILING FOR ADOPTIONS, ABANDONMENT, AND EMANCIPATION DOCUMENTS IN JUVENILE DEPENDENCY EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 19

Beginning September 19, the Court will implement mandatory efiling for attorneys representing litigants and/or agencies for all adoption documents, pursuant to Family Code Sections 8500- 9340, as well as abandonment and emancipation documents in juvenile dependency, as required per Presiding Judge Eric C. Taylor’s directive in General Order 2022-GEN-015-00. Efiling provides efficiencies and enhances the Court’s ability to maintain complete and easily accessible records.
