MyJuryDuty Portal Now Available; Remote Appearances Available for Civil, Juvenile, Criminal, and Appellate; Remote Appearances Unavailable in Family Law, Probate and Traffic Cases Until Further Notice

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County has updated its Temporary Information Center to ensure court users and the legal community are provided with real-time information about the current state of court operations and services impacted by the ransomware attack the Court experienced last Friday, Presiding Judge Samantha P. Jessner announced today.

The Court’s Temporary Information Center, which is updated in real time, provides the status of all public-facing court functions impacted by the attack, including the Court’s MyJuryDuty Portal, remote appearances, electronic filing and more. Going forward, the Temporary Information Center will serve as the primary hub for status updates on the restoration of services. Court users, attorneys, and members of the media are encouraged to visit the Temporary Information Center webpage for ongoing updates and announcements. The Center is also accessible from the Court’s homepage, www.lacourt.org. The Court will also post updates on ‘X’ @LASuperiorCourt and on Instagram @LASuperiorCourt when specific services are restored.

Please see below for specific updates regarding jury service and remote appearances.

Jury Duty Update:

The Court’s MyJuryDuty Portal and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system at (213) 972-0970, which provide jurors with reporting instructions, have been restored. Jurors with a July 22 – 26 service week can now register and check the status of their jury duty service.
