MARICOPA COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT: AUGUST 20, 2024, RULES AGENDA AMENDMENTS

During the Supreme Court’s August 2024 Rules Agenda, the Supreme Court considered several petitions for rule changes and issued orders related to the petitions.

Here is a link to a digest of rule amendments created by the Arizona Supreme Court recently promulgated at the August 20, 2024, Rules Agenda. Effective dates are noted for each rule amendment, but the majority of the amendments will become effective January 1, 2025.

Of notable interest is R-23-0055, regarding the Rules of Procedure for Special Actions, resulted in entirely restyled and modified rules. An order was entered on August 22, 2024, making these changes effective January 1, 2025.
